The 9/11 conspiracy theories do not die. Most believers also think the Kennedy assassination was a CIA plot, the moon landing was faked, Pearl Harbour was purposely rigged, and the sun still orbits the earth. Anyone who believes otherwise is a dupe of Galileo and scientific theory, which was invented by the Illuminati to turn us away from the truth (just kidding).
Many conspiracy buffs believe America and Israel are the true terrorists and that the world is ruled by a mysterious cabal that runs the gamut from A to B: aliens to Bilderbergs. In this, they share a common bond with Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, the Persian Machiavelli.
Extremists on the left and right unite. Nazis and nutbars, anarchists and angry cultural-studies profs.
George Bush couldn't even erase his daughter's arrest on....[underage drinking] charges, but we're supposed to believe he can keep thousands of government workers, scientists and engineers quiet about the true nature of 9/11. But reason is their short suit, paranoia their fetish, just like Bush— "The enemy is everywhere."
Their faith perseveres, their religion persists, like all religions, despite logic and evidence.
